Shopping-country and currency preferences are stored in cookies. WooCommerce country detection may use IPinfo or Country.is to estimate a country from an IP address. This does not determine the activation region of a licence. Exchange rates are retrieved from ExchangeRate-API without sending account or order details.

Operator details, contact channels, payment and email processors, retention periods and customer rights must be completed before launch.

Social sign-in

When this feature is available, you can choose to sign in with Google, Facebook or X. Authentication takes place with the provider. Card Code uses your name, email address and linked account identifier to manage your account and orders. Profile pictures and access tokens are not stored permanently. A temporary session matches the sign-in request with the provider response.
